On this particular house in Wexford there was a pitched roof added where there was once a flat roof.
All the waist materials was left up in the attic lieing on the plasterboard covering spot lghts which in itself was a fire hazard,not to mention the weight on ceiling....
We completely cleaned out the attic,one skip of waist materials, we then tidied up the existing insulation and added 150mm earthwool insulation.
We fitted an optistep loft ladder in the bedroom for better access and then added 35m2 of raised loft flooring.
Hudge transformation ,safe ,insulated and plenty of storage.
