"Just throwing it out there my Down syndrome brother has misplaced his phone , possibly in the oakpark area . He's very upset without it . Not only is he addicted to his phone but he would have a lot of photos of our dad on it also . It's still ringing so we are hoping If anyone has it would they return it to the Guard station or to eagle lodge in oakpark. We would be very appreciative of it . Thank you ."

If you come across it, please hand it in, it's a very precious item, and is more about the contents of the phone than the phone itself.

Just in from Kerry County Council:

Kerry County Council is asking motorists to avoid the Conor Pass in west Kerry following heavy snowfalls and icy conditions.

There has been snow at the county bounds on the N22 and driving conditions there are poor.

In all parts of the county, motorists are asked to drive with care and allow plenty of time for journeys this evening and throughout Friday.

Kerry County Council crews are salting main routes however motorists should always exercise caution and drive with care.

The Council is monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates on social media and through the media generally.
