Finished off the week with an impressive 91.43% reduction in envelope leakage

Have a look at how AeroBarrier filled the inside of the express nails that had penetrated into the cavity. Even around the timber joist gets sealed during the process

Any new build in Ireland must have an air tightness result of under 5 to comply with building regulations. This retrofit project now has a result of 0.92

Last week our team was on the road working across a wide range of projects, including:

🏠 New build masonry homes (no airtightness scratch coats prior to plasterboard slabbing)
🔧 DEEP Retrofit projects
🌱 An EnerPHit project

We had a busy week of seals this week travelling over 1300km to 5 different counties

Our best result of the week was 0.46ACH on a timberframe house.

Todays seal on a block built house had a massive 91.68% reduction in envelope leakage by the time we were finished. The house is now ready for plasterboard with no need for a scratchcoat on the block walls.

⚠️ Storm Update – This Weekend’s Show Blown Off Course! ⚠️

We are sad to say that Storm Amy has forced the cancellation of the Connacht Self-Build, Renovate & Extend Show in Galway this weekend.

We were all set to chat airtightness, self-builds, and retrofits – and show off our award-winning AeroBarrier technology – but Mother Nature had other plans. 🌬️💨
