Congratulations to Jenny O'Dea, who was the winner of a competition we did in conjunction with Niamh O'Donovan of . Thanks again to all those who entered. It took a while to arrange this presentation due to Covid, work commitments, weddings etc.

Shown here is Pat, accepting the prize of a single room heat recovery system on behalf of his wife Jenny.

Once fitted, the Quantum HR single room heat recovery unit will ventilate up to a 20sqm room, eliminating mould and condensation issues for less than €3 per year and give a return on waste heat of 82%.

Retrofit Ventilation Solutions

For anyone who missed it last week here is our segment in the retrofit event hosted by and broadcast by .

Here we discussed the causes of mould and condensation in houses and look at simple, low cost ventilation solutions.

Check out the sample of our single room heat recovery fan which is suitable for bedrooms and living rooms.

On setting 1 ( its lowest setting) this fan is perfectly suited to acoustically sensitive rooms such as bedrooms and will

✅ Ventilate a 20sqm

✅ Using less than €3 electricity/yr

✅ Will achieve 82% efficiency, meaning you will retain 16° of the avg 20° typically lost with natural ventilation

✅Run at an incredibly low 10db. You will have to put your ear to this fan to know if it's even running.

This fan is also perfect for living rooms and kitchen/ dining rooms up to 40sqm.

Note: Fan needs to be fitted by qualified electrician
