We’re pleased to have recently commenced fire remediation works at Tramyard Apartments in Dublin.

This project marks another step forward in BHA Construction’s continued delivery of specialist remediation works, where careful planning, coordination and a strong focus on safety and compliance are essential.

Our teams are now mobilised on site, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the works are delivered efficiently, responsibly and in line with current regulatory standards.

We look forward to progressing the project and sharing updates as works continue.

Kevin Kenneally, Site Manager at our Graiguecullen development, leads the day-to-day operations on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing sequencing and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality and safety expectations.

Site management requires constant oversight and balancing productivity with quality control, maintaining standards across multiple trades, and adapting to changing site conditions. Through structured planning, regular communication and hands-on leadership, Kevin ensures the site continues to progress in a controlled and professional manner.

Health and safety sits at the centre of how we plan, mobilise, deliver and hand over every project at BHA Construction. From early planning and site mobilisation through to completion and handover, safety is built into each stage of our work. It shapes how we run our sites and how we support our teams.

Brian Smith, our Health & Safety Director, works closely with project and site teams to maintain a safe workplace, support delivery teams, and keep improving how we manage risk. Strong planning, clear communication, and good coordination between BHA, subcontractors and site teams are a key part of achieving high safety standards.

“Safety needs to be built into planning from the start. Clear work methods, clear roles, and good coordination set the site up to deliver safely. Controls must be in place before work begins.” - Brian Smith.

In 2026, BHA will roll out our new High-Risk Work Standards to provide clear guidance on how high-risk activities must be planned, managed and controlled across all BHA sites.

At BHA, our Quantity Surveyors play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered with clarity, discipline and certainty, from early procurement through to final account.

Working closely with site teams, design partners and subcontractors, our QSs help manage cost, mitigate risk and support informed decision-making at every stage of a project. Their work is central to maintaining programme momentum while protecting quality and compliance.

This collaborative approach allows our teams to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality homes efficiently and responsibly.

As we move into 2026, we’re reflecting on a year of meaningful progress and delivery at BHA Construction.

Throughout 2025, our teams successfully delivered residential developments across Dublin, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Kildare, supporting communities and contributing to Ireland’s housing supply where it’s needed most.

Alongside completions, we sustained strong momentum by breaking ground on over 300 new homes and achieving BCAR compliance across multiple active sites, reinforcing our focus on quality, consistency and compliance.

The year also marked continued collaboration with housing bodies, local authorities and government partners, as well as an important step in our growth journey with expansion into the UK through a major residential redevelopment project in London.

These milestones reflect disciplined delivery, trusted partnerships and the commitment of our people, supported by the confidence placed in us by our clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.

As we enter 2026, we're focused on delivering more homes, strengthening partnerships and continuing to support Ireland’s housing goals at scale.

Meet Meyre, our BCAR Manager, who is responsible for overseeing building control and ensuring every home we deliver meets the standards we commit to.

Her role sits at the intersection of quality, compliance and delivery. From design stage through to completion, Meyre works closely with our site teams, consultants and partners to make sure systems are followed, documentation is robust and nothing is left to chance.

“BCAR isn’t just a regulatory requirement,” Meyre explains. “It’s a framework that protects quality and gives confidence to clients, regulators and ultimately the people who will live in these homes.”

In an environment where projects are often under pressure, strong systems matter, they create certainty, accountability and trust. They are a key reason BHA is relied on to deliver compliant, high-quality homes at scale.

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch before wrapping up for the festive break a chance to step away from the day-to-day and come together at the BHA office.

Our fantastic office manager organised a hearty breakfast along with a gift for everyone, making it a really nice opportunity to catch up, reflect on the year that’s been, and thank our teams for the commitment, professionalism and hard work they bring to BHA every day.

It was a simple but meaningful way to show our appreciation for the people behind the work.

A great way to mark the end of a busy year and begin the Christmas break.
