We're delighted to share that Sycamore Construction has been nominated for a Business Award at this year's Bray Endeavour Awards ❤️🏆

🎭 We'll be heading to the Mermaid Arts Centre tomorrow night, and it means a lot to be recognised in the community we're so proud to be part of.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who put our name forward, and to the Bray & District Chamber of Commerce for this recognition.

Behind everything we do is a hardworking team, trusted trades and suppliers, and customers who welcome us into their homes. We're very grateful to all of you.

Looking forward to a lovely evening celebrating the people and businesses of Bray ❤️

Full hearts & busy hands ❤️🔨

What a few days it’s been. Watching DIY SOS back and seeing everyone come together to help bring Hannah home is something the whole team will always be proud of. Thank you for all the kind messages, we’ve been reading every single one.

Behind the scenes, the work hasn’t stopped 🏡

Here’s a look at one of our current attic conversions. No more pulling down a ladder to get into the attic.🪜

Now there’s a proper staircase, freshly plastered walls and big roof windows pouring light into a brand new space at the top of the house!🙌🏼

There’s still plenty to do, but it’s already feeling like a whole new floor!

👷🏼‍♂️Get in touch with the Sycamore Construction team to discuss your plans. We’d love to hear what you have in mind.

What a special night! ❤️ The tears , the laughter and the connection.

A massive thank you to the Duggan family at Frank Duff’s in Bray for kindly hosting last night’s screening of DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland.

From the warm welcome to the complimentary Prosecco and finger food, it was such a thoughtful gesture and hugely appreciated by all the volunteers who came along.

It was lovely to bring everyone together again, catch up with familiar faces and watch Hannah Leonard’s incredible story unfold on screen.

From all of us, thank you to everyone who made this project and last night so special. ❤️

The support for Hannah and her family doesn’t stop here.

If you would like to contribute towards Hannah’s ongoing recovery and care, you can donate through her family’s GoFundMe:

Such a lovely gesture from the Duggan family. A chance to catch up with familiar faces and watch what everyone helped make possible.

Let’s get the word around so nobody misses out.
Tag someone who lent a hand, share this with the crew and let’s all head down! 💜

It was never just about building a house. It was about bringing Hannah home. 💜

This Sunday, we’ll finally get to see what happens when a community comes together for one family.

From the tradespeople and suppliers to the volunteers, local businesses and everyone who gave their time, skills and support, every single person played a part in making this possible.

There were long days, plenty of hard work, a few laughs along the way and so many people willing to lend a hand.

Looking back at these photos, we’re reminded of just how many people came together for the Leonard family. 💜

To everyone involved in the DIY SOS Bray build, you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve helped achieve.

Still a bit to go, but look at the difference already 👀🔨

A look back at where we started and how things are coming along. There’s plenty of work between these clips, and plenty more to come!

Fair play to everyone putting the work in 🧡 Looking forward to showing you this one finished.

👷🏼‍♂️Thinking about making changes to your own home? Give us a shout.

Anyone else getting a soft spot for sage green lately? Eyes👀 We’re big fans of it here!🤩

Especially when it looks this well alongside whitewashed brick and blonde oak laminate flooring. A lovely combination in the entrance of this home, with plenty of natural light coming through that front door.

🧱The brickwork you’re looking at is the existing red brick cladding, given a whitewash so you still get all that lovely texture and character. Sometimes a feature already in your home is well worth keeping 🧡

Would you go for a bit of green in your own hallway?🚪

👷🏼‍♂️If you’re planning a home renovation or house extension in Bray, Wicklow or the surrounding areas, give us a shout. Alan, Johno and the team would be happy to chat through your ideas.

Same house, extra room. You just had to look up 🙌🏼

This is a finished attic conversion we've just wrapped up, with a proper carpeted staircase, a roof window bringing in loads of natural light, and a glass balustrade so the whole space feels open and bright. Now all it needs is a big comfy chair and a blanket for the winter evenings.

Home office, playroom, cosy reading nook, or somewhere to hide from the rest of the house? Tell us what you'd use it for in the comments 👇

If your attic is just full of Christmas decorations and boxes you haven't opened since you moved in, it might be worth a chat. Winter is a great time to plan, so you're ready to go in the new year.

👷🏼‍♂️ Get in touch with Alan, Johno and the Sycamore Construction team to talk through your plans. We'd love to hear what you have in mind.

We have a date… 📆💜

And lads, we’ve been waiting a long time to share this one with you!

On Sunday 18th October, you’ll get to see the DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland episode featuring the Leonard family in Bray, and a project that means so much to all of us.

Back in July, we joined Baz, the DIY SOS team and an incredible group of tradespeople, volunteers and local businesses to help create a home ready to welcome Hannah Leonard back to her family. 💜

Seeing so many people turn up, roll up their sleeves and give their time and skills to help Hannah and her family is something we’ll never forget. We’re so proud to have played our part alongside them.👷🏼‍♂️

We’ve been looking forward to showing you what everyone achieved together ever since. These photos bring it all back, and we can only imagine what watching the episode will feel like!

📺 Sunday 18th October
🕡 6.30pm on RTÉ One

Put the kettle on and watch it with us. This one will stay with us long after the credits roll. 💜☕️
