When a previous implant goes wrong, the rebuild has to go right.

This 55-year-old patient came in to correct an implant at position 46, and the exam showed the full extent of the problem: the implant had been placed too far lingually, completely outside the arch, essentially impossible to restore prosthetically. With bone resorption and thin gingival tissue in the mix, this wasn’t a straightforward replacement.

Dr. Ricardo Naves Sepúlveda re-established a solid base with guided bone regeneration, then rebuilt the missing keratinized tissue with a gingival graft.

✅ Once the site was properly prepared, a 3.75 x 10 mm I-ON Implant was placed to achieve a tight, stable seal, and the case was completed with a screw-retained zirconium crown.

Some events set a higher standard!

Our AB Dental Scientific Conference in Mexicali was a perfect example of what happens when exceptional scientific content, outstanding speakers, and meticulous organization come together.

We were honored to host Dr. Isaac Tawil (USA), a globally recognized leader in implantology and digital dentistry, who shared his extensive clinical experience and insights into the evolving world of digital implantology. Joining him was Dr. Francisco Rosado (Dominican Republic), an expert in oral and maxillofacial surgery, who explored the possibilities of customized subperiosteal implants (PSI).

The quality of the discussions and the enthusiasm of the participants made this conference a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved.

What a way to kick off our time in Mexico!

Ahead of the upcoming AB Dental Symposium, we spent several exciting days meeting with our local partners, visiting dental clinics across Los Algodones and Mexicali, and connecting with doctors who share our passion for implant dentistry.

It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, exchange clinical insights, explore new possibilities, and experience firsthand the enthusiasm for AB Dental in the region.

Among the many highlights were our time with Dr. Jorge Sanches, our leading I-ON implant ambassador, a productive meeting with 10 surgeons and restorative dentists, and a special encounter with our dear friend from the US, Dr. Isaac Tawil.

And now, with all this positive energy and momentum, we're ready for the symposium!
