Today marks three years since Hamas-led terrorists invaded southern Israel, murdering civilians and taking hostages in one of the darkest days in the country’s history.

We remember every person who was murdered, honour the survivors and stand with the families whose lives were changed forever. The victims were people of every age and background, including children, elderly people and Holocaust survivors, attacked in their homes and communities.

The passage of three years does not diminish the horror of that day or the responsibility to remember what happened. The deliberate murder and abduction of civilians must be condemned without qualification. Those responsible must be held accountable.

The Hub of Fine Arts and Aluminij Industries were illuminated in memory of the victims of this horrific attack.

We honour the memory of the innocent lives lost, the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed by that tragic day.

Twenty-five years later, their memory endures.

We stand in solidarity with the American people and remain united in our rejection of extremism and terrorism in all its forms.

A Tribute in Lights

M.T. Abraham Group marked the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States with a public tribute honouring the American people and celebrating the enduring values of freedom and democracy.

To mark the occasion, the Group illuminated the Croatian Lodge “Herceg Stjepan Kosača”, Aluminij Industries and The Hub of Fine Arts in the colours of the United States flag. A congratulatory message was also displayed on Sarajevo City Center, extending best wishes to the American people on this historic milestone.

The tribute reflected the Group’s respect for the United States and recognised the longstanding relationship between the countries, as well as the importance of transatlantic cooperation and shared democratic values.
