IP strategy isn’t legal hygiene — it’s business strategy.

Yesterday we hosted a CEO-focused session at BIOHOUSE on how to treat IP as a core asset — not a checkbox and not a “nice to have.”

Key messages that resonated strongly:

Your IP strategy belongs at the heart of your business plan. In many cases, the plan should be derived from the IP strategy — because it shapes what you can defend, partner on, license, and scale.
Protection isn’t a one-time event. IP is dynamic: it requires ongoing monitoring and continuous alignment with product evolution, publications, partnerships, and financing milestones.
The goal isn’t “more filings.” The goal is clarity and leverage — building a defensible position that supports growth.

Huge thanks to Morag-Sela (Partner & Head of Life Sciences) and the team at Reinhold Cohn for a sharp, practical session and an excellent discussion with our community.

Warrior Spirit. Startup Spirit.

How to survive a long crisis without losing your core.

After a long period of war, prolonged uncertainty, and one of the hardest environments biotech startups have faced in recent years, many founders are operating under constant pressure. Teams are tired. Fundraising is slower. Global investors are more hesitant. And in many cases, survival itself has become the challenge.

We Remember. We Rise. We Build.

As Israel moves from Memorial Day into Independence Day, we carry both sorrow and gratitude.

We remember the fallen, honor grieving families, and hold close the pain that so many still live with. In Israel, this transition is never simple. The sadness does not fade when the celebration begins. It stays with us.

And still, we rise.

After years of war, loss, and uncertainty, Israel’s independence feels more precious than ever. We honor those who defend it with courage — including the legendary Israeli Air Force — and we honor the remarkable resilience of Israel’s citizens, who continue to stand together, support one another, and keep moving forward.

At BIOHOUSE, we believe that choosing to build — to heal, to create, to innovate — is its own act of hope.

On this day, we remember.
We rise.
And we keep building.

From all of us at BIOHOUSE,
we wish Israel strength, unity, and better days ahead.

Together Into Spring.

Sometimes, all we need is a small piece of sky to keep going.
This season arrives in heavy days. Many are carrying exhaustion, uncertainty, and the quiet weight of everything around us. And still, spring returns — gently reminding us that renewal begins even in fragile moments.

At BIOHOUSE, we hold close the belief that community matters most in times like these. In coming together, in continuing to create, in making space for meaningful work and human connection, there is strength.

May this season bring a little more light, a little more breath, and a renewed sense of hope!

Even in days like these, we choose to keep celebrating life!💜

This Purim at BIOHOUSE was a reminder of what community can do: a room full of founders, scientists, builders, and doers—showing up for each other with warmth, humor, and resilience.

Because innovation isn’t only about technology.
It’s also about spirit: the ability to keep moving, keep creating, and keep believing—together.

Thank you to everyone who joined, brought the energy, and made this moment feel light again.

Reimbursement Reality Check — Make the Payer Be the Winner

Your product can be clinically brilliant and still go nowhere if the wrong party is asked to pay. In healthcare, value often lands in one pocket (payer), while the invoice lands in another (provider). That mismatch—misaligned incentives / “value leakage”—kills deals quietly.

The “Kill List” for 2026: Win by Stopping the Wrong Work

Most startups don’t fail from a lack of ideas — they fail from too many initiatives competing for the same scarce resources: founder attention, team capacity, and runway. A “Stop-Doing List” isn’t a vibe. It’s strategy in action: choosing trade-offs and protecting focus.

Proud moment for our BIOHOUSE members.

Huge congrats to NeuroGenesis Bio Inc. and Tal Gilat on being selected as one of the five companies featured in “The Next Prescription: Billion Dollar Healthcare Returns” at the YPO Global Business Summit in Los Angeles.

What stands out here isn’t just the recognition — it’s the sign for the next era of healthcare is about restoring lives, not managing decline.

At BIOHOUSE, we’re proud to host and support teams like NeuroGenesis Bio Inc. as they turn bold science into real-world clinical impact — faster, sharper, and with the right ecosystem around them.
