Meet Roy Abekasis, our talented Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Team Leader at Steakholder Foods! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ง

Roy finds immense joy in the mechanical design aspect of his work, relishing the challenges that come with designing within the constraints of the food industry. His passion for innovation and problem-solving is evident in everything he does. ๐Ÿ’กโœจ

"I was inspired to join Steakholder Foods because of the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology in the food industry," says Roy. "What motivates me daily is the shared ambition and drive of our entire company to achieve great things quickly and efficiently."

One of the proudest moments in Roy's career was when his team successfully completed a particularly challenging project on time and to a high standard. This achievement was a testament to their hard work, collaboration, and expertise. Seeing the machine they designed in action and knowing the positive impact it would have was incredibly rewarding. ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘

Outside of work, Roy dreams of having the power of telekinesis. "The idea of being able to move objects with just a thought is simply fascinating. It's a power that could make everyday tasks a breeze and open up endless possibilities for exploration and creativity. Plus, let's admit it: the idea of being able to make things float across the room with a wave of my hand is absolutely cool!"
