Building a high-tech greenhouse is not only about choosing equipment. It is about choosing the right automation strategy before the facility starts operating.

In this case, a new commercial strawberry project in Romania needed to reduce greenhouse CapEx without compromising reliability. The team was planning four polyhouses for hydroponic strawberry production and had to avoid the typical trap of disconnected timers, separate controllers, and fragmented operational data.

GrowDirector helped build a local-first automation blueprint:
❇️ HydroDirector automated fertigation with precise pH and EC control.
❇️ DryContactDirector and SocketDirector brought fans, heaters, chillers, and electrical equipment into one centralized system.

Indoor cannabis farming leaves very little room for error. In this case, the grow operation struggled with unstable climate conditions, manual monitoring, and fragmented control over irrigation, lighting, humidity, CO2, and temperature.
