Before automation: a grower in La Plata, Argentina, sent staff to measure EC and pH several times a day, then manually adjusted dosing whenever values drifted.

After: the nutrient solution is monitored and corrected continuously, and the grower checks everything from a phone. Their time now goes into production and sales, not measurements.

One question comes up in almost every conversation with growers: "Our site is in the middle of nowhere. There is no Wi-Fi there. Does this even work for us?"

Yes, it does. And it works exactly the same way as in a city.

GrowDirector modules only need access to a router's Wi-Fi. How that router gets online is up to you. It can be a regular internet cable, or it can be a SIM card with cellular data in a compatible router. Put a cellular router in the greenhouse, and the modules and the app work as usual. No cables to the site, no waiting for a provider to lay a line.

So a greenhouse in an open field, a remote farm, a seasonal site with no infrastructure at all: none of that is a blocker. If there is cellular coverage, there is wireless automation.

Every GrowDirector module talks to your Wi-Fi network. That is the whole connectivity story.

No communication cables between zones. No rewiring when you move a sensor or add a new dosing unit. Place the module where it needs to be, power it on, add it in the app, and it starts working. New modules simply join the same network as your operation grows.

Setup takes a few minutes from your phone. Connect to the Wi-Fi you plan to use, tap Add module, enter the network password, select the module from your phone's Wi-Fi list, and wait for the confirmation screen. That is it.

The moment a greenhouse becomes readable, it becomes manageable.

In this 20,000 sqf NFT facility growing leafy greens, every water parameter used to be checked by hand, one reading at a time. Now pH, EC and water temperature come in as live data, and fertigation adjusts itself against those numbers automatically.

The grower opens the phone and sees the greenhouse as it is right now, from anywhere. Decisions come from real conditions instead of from the last manual check.
