Can digital workflows make a measurable difference in immediate implant loading?
A recent systematic review and meta-analysis by Palani et al. compared digital and conventional workflows for immediate implant loading in the esthetic zone.
The findings favored the digital approach:
• Better esthetic outcomes
• Significantly less marginal bone loss
• A trend toward higher patient satisfaction
The authors conclude that digital workflows offer significant advantages in esthetic outcomes and marginal bone preservation.
Immediate loading is also where digital workflow and implant technology increasingly meet. While digital tools support the planning and ex*****on of treatment, implant design plays its own role in supporting the clinical protocol.
Magix™ is a good example of how we approach this challenge — designed for high primary stability and well suited to immediate placement and loading in selected clinical cases.
