A great first day at the Cortex Advanced All-on-X Course in Lyon.

Implant Placement in Posterior Maxilla with Sinus Avoidance

A clinical case demonstrating implant placement in regions 14 and 16 under conditions of limited bone volume and close proximity to the maxillary sinus.

Through digital planning and guided surgery, a safe implantation zone and optimal implant positions were defined, allowing precise placement while avoiding the need for sinus lift.

The use of Cortex solutions supported high surgical accuracy, reduced trauma, and efficient workflow.

Prosthetic components played a key role, with angled and straight multi-unit abutments enabling proper load distribution and optimal restoration positioning.

Result: A predictable, safe, and functional outcome, even in a complex anatomical situation.
