LessTests is hiring a full stack software developer
About us: LessTests’ software enables increasing COVID-19 and other test efficiency by 5x and more. Our software solution is based on scientific research, engineering, and field experience from top universities and is currently used in leading molecular labs and HMOs around the world, helping to combat the pandemic.
Job Description
As a full stack web developer at LessTests you will:
● Continue to develop our main LessTests System: The system is responsible for communicating with medical laboratory staff and machinery, executing automatic analysis, and supplying results using graphical UI and automated procedures
● Work side by side with our algorithmic and biological researchers, building tools to run simulations, developing and assessing our advanced solutions to SARS-CoV-2 PCR test pooling on current and future test protocols and kits
As a young startup we are looking for a team player who will take initiative to solve problems and help make LessTests a winning product.
Some technologies we use: Python, Django, Celery, Pandas, Numpy; JavaScript, React; Linux
Requirements:
● At least 10 years of experience
● Strong software development skills, including good background in Python development
● Background in web development - preferably with Django or a similar framework
● Mandatory: Strong JavaScript skills, with background in React or a similar web framework
● Highly recommended: Working with data, especially scientific data using NumPy and Pandas
● An advantage: Background in scientific research, biology, or bioinformatics
● An advantage: Understanding of statistical analysis and algorithms
● Fluent in Hebrew, proficient in English
● Team player, dedicated, interested in working on a product that makes a substantial contribution and impact
The job scope is 50% with potential future expansion.
