The AI-in-drive-thru conversation has always been framed as a labor story: machines vs. workers.

We see it differently.

Taking orders through a headset all shift is one of the most repetitive, exhausting parts of working a drive-thru - constant noise, constant interruptions, constant context switching. When our AI Order Taker takes that off employees' plates, something we didn't fully expect happened: people started staying longer. Operators using Hi Auto have seen turnover drop by 17–25%.

Turns out, when you remove the most stressful part of a job, people actually enjoy the work more. As our CEO Roy Baharav puts it: "Nobody gets into this business because they love wearing a headset for eight hours. When you take that away, people tend to enjoy the work more, and restaurants are seeing that show up in retention."

We're not building AI to replace restaurant teams. We're building it so the people who show up every day want to keep showing up.

Two weeks until Prosper Forum 🎉

Between the sessions and the panels, leaders will be comparing notes on the same three things: labor, guests, and what to build next.

All three meet in the drive-thru, hundreds of times a day, in every store you run.
That's where we work, across ~1,000 stores, and Orlando is our chance to talk about it face to face.

Bring your store count, your labor math, your hardest location. Eyal Shapira, our CTO & Co-Founder and Parrish Chapman, our EVP of Sales, will work through the numbers with you, store by store: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0x14jY0

Nobody hands you a playbook for running hundreds of restaurants.
You write it yourself, in labor meetings that run long, in store visits where you taste the fries and check the timer, and in the hard calls where you tell a franchisee what they don't want to hear because the brand needs it.

This August, the people who write those playbooks gather at Prosper Forum in Orlando. Top QSR and hospitality executives and the next generation of senior talent, with ~$1T of industry influence between them, by Prosper's count.

Here's what that number doesn't capture: these executives led their brands through a labor market nobody planned for, made technology bets with their own credibility attached, and owned the results in front of their operators.

We're a founding partner of Prosper Forum 2026 for one reason: the standard these leaders set is the standard we build to.

The leaders deciding where QSR and hospitality go next are spending four days together in Orlando this August.

Prosper Forum, August 16-19. Top industry executives and next-gen senior talent, with ~$1T of industry influence between them.

If you run technology for a chain, Prosper Forum will be full of people carrying your exact questions. Where labor goes next. What guests will expect tomorrow. Which investments hold up across every location, not just the flagship.

Hi Auto is a founding partner of Prosper Forum 2026 because our roadmap isn't written in our office, it's written in stores run by leaders like these.

Parrish Chapman, our EVP of Sales, will be there all four days. Reserve time with him to hear what 100M+ orders a year have taught us, and what they could mean in your stores: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0wTDW70

The restaurant industry is entering a new era where technology is becoming a core competitive advantage rather than simply an operational tool.

Faced with rising labor costs, changing consumer expectations, and growing demand for digital ordering, operators are increasingly investing in AI, automation, and connected commerce platforms.

TVC Analyst's latest industry roundup highlights 10 restaurant technology vendors helping businesses modernize operations, improve guest experiences, and position themselves for long-term growth. Hi Auto is on the list.

Roy Baharav, our CEO & Co-founder, was interviewed on BUILDERS by The Front Lines.
The conversation covers how Hi Auto reframed drive-thru AI from headcount reduction to throughput and upsell capture. And how we got there.

We pivoted twice before finding the right problem. Automotive voice AI first. Then contactless kiosks. It took a Burger King Europe rejection to point us at the drive-thru order taker. That became the company.
From there: building a vertical AI solution from scratch, landing Checkers and Rally's as our first brand partner, and scaling to work with some of the largest QSR chains in the world.

Roy Baharav, CEO & Co-Founder of Hi Auto, shares how they pivoted to drive-thru voice AI and the GTM lessons from selling automation into the QSR industry on BUILDERS.

At NRA 2026, operators didn't ask if AI order-taking works. They asked how it works at scale.

Scale in QSR is specific: different menus, different accents, different LTOs, different upsell strategies.

Two great days in Chicago with clients, partners, and industry leaders moving fast on what's next for the drive-thru.
