130 כדורים לשיכוך כאבים ביום

קשה בכלל לדמיין מספר כזה.

אתמול פורסם על מטופל מרמב״ם שנגמל מכ-130 כדורים ביום, תוך 20 דקות, בזכות מערכת ישראלית המבצעת ניתוח לא פולשני באמצעות גלי קול ממוקדים (Focused Ultrasound) בתוך מכשיר MRI.

מה שריגש אותנו במיוחד הוא שזו מערכת שזכינו להיות חלק מפיתוחה ב-Taga יחד עם InSightec במשך למעלה משנתיים.

זה היה אחד מפרויקטי המכשור הרפואי המורכבים והמאתגרים ביותר שעבדנו עליהם. מאות החלטות הנדסיות, אינספור שעות פיתוח, ניסויים, אינטגרציה וירידה לפרטים – הכל כדי לאפשר לטכנולוגיה פורצת דרך להפוך למוצר רפואי אמיתי.

באותה תקופה המערכת שימשה בעיקר לטיפול בגידולים. היום, אותה פלטפורמה טכנולוגית כבר מסייעת גם לחולי פרקינסון, רעד, כאב כרוני, ומחלות נוירולוגיות נוספות.

אלה הרגעים שמזכירים לנו למה אנחנו עושים את מה שאנחנו עושים.

Taga and Kornit has just won the prestigious European Product Design Award for the Apollo Printer by Kornit-Digital(www.kornit.com)

Apollo, a 15 meter-long direct-to-garment printer can print on T-shirts faster and better than any printer before

It is such an amazing product and Taga designers did a wonderful job giving it the look it deserves
