We are proud to announce Prof. Dr. M M Ananth as a distinguished speaker at our upcoming event. A two-time Vice Chancellor and Professor of AI & Materials Science, he brings a unique blend of technical leadership and a strong focus on human values in education and innovation.
Dr. Ananth chairs international steering committees for major global conference series and leads the Global Education Forum Series in collaboration with leading national and international organizations including the United Nations, UNESCO, NITI Aayog, and the World Economic Forum.
Through his think tank, Academic Network, he has fostered impactful academic-industry partnerships with institutions such as , , Singapore, Ohio State University, France, as well as leading organizations like IBM and Boeing.
His technical contributions are equally distinguished, including pioneering hashtag models adopted by Boeing, ABB, Nippon Steel, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
He also serves as the sole academic advisor to India’s Manthan Project under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. Earlier, a Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Cambridge and a DAAD Fellow, Dr. Ananth has led transformative academic initiatives across six countries, championing growth that extends beyond technology to the development of people and institutions.
His work on holistic capacity-building is reflected in the I-ACT Assessment framework, developed following his Cambridge University Press whitepaper Fostering Future Leaders & Global Professionals. He continues to actively mentor IIT students and is a Fellow Member of the AIMA Vice Chancellor’s Council.
