📢 ACTI Announces New Managing Committee, Executive Committee & Office Bearers

Following the Managing Committee Election held on 12 April 2026 and the completion of the necessary process during the Special General Meeting on 3 May 2026, ACTI is pleased to announce the newly elected / selected Executive Committee and Office Bearers for the upcoming term.

We congratulate the new leadership team and wish them great success in advancing ACTI’s vision, strengthening member engagement, and contributing to the continued growth of the association.

We also express our sincere appreciation to all members for their active participation, trust, and continued support throughout the election process.

ACTI’s Executive Committee’s Office Bearers are visited R C Technical Institute on 1st May 2026 as part of the MoU with RCTI.

The visit marked an important step towards strengthening industry–institute collaboration. Discussions were held on skill development, practical training, and creating better opportunities for students to align with industry needs.

ACTI remains committed to supporting academic institutions and fostering initiatives that promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and career growth.

We sincerely thank the RCTI team for their warm welcome and look forward to a long and fruitful association.

ACTI as Conference Partner | PNPAC 2026

The Association of Chemical Technologist of India (ACTI) was privileged to serve as a Conference Partner for the National Conference on Current Trends in Pure & Applied Chemistry (PNPAC) 2026, organized by Parul Institute on 11th April 2026.

This collaborative initiative reflects ACTI’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and research in the field of chemistry.

The conference concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution, wherein outstanding PhD, Postgraduate (PG), and Undergraduate (UG) awardees were recognized for their academic and research achievements.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of ACTI leadership, including the President, Trustee, and Vice President–Treasurer, whose participation underscored the organization’s dedication to encouraging emerging scholars.

ACTI extends its sincere congratulations to all award recipients and appreciates the efforts of the organizers and participants in making the conference a meaningful and successful academic engagement.

ACTI Strengthens Academic Collaboration with St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Ahmedabad

Under the MoU between ACTI and St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), ACTI continues to actively support academic initiatives of the institution.

ACTI proudly served as a Partial Sponsor for the prestigious CHEM-CHO 4.0 event organized by the Chemistry Department of the college. On this occasion, the President (Mr. Shwetang Patwari) , Joint Secretary ( Dr. Atul Makwana - Also faculty) and Committee Members (Mr. Avinash Chaubal) of ACTI were invited to grace the Valedictory Function, where ACTI representatives felicitated the participating students for their outstanding efforts and achievements.

In a special moment of recognition, Mr. Shwetang Patwari, President of ACTI, was felicitated by the Chemistry Department on 26th February 2026, during the CHEM-CHO 4.0 celebration. This honor was conferred as an appreciation and acknowledgment of ACTI’s continuous support and partial sponsorship of various events conducted by the Chemistry Department under the MoU with the institute.

The collaboration reflects ACTI’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, industry–institute interaction, and encouragement of young scientific talent.

ACTI એ St. Xavier’s કોલેજ (સ્વાયત્ત), અમદાવાદ સાથે શૈક્ષણિક સહયોગને મજબૂત કરે છે.
ACTI અને St. Xavier’s કોલેજ (સ્વાયત્ત) વચ્ચેના MoU હેઠળ, ACTI સંસ્થાની શૈક્ષણિક પહેલને સક્રિયપણે ટેકો આપવાનું ચાલુ રાખે છે.

ACTI એ ગર્વથી કોલેજના રસાયણશાસ્ત્ર વિભાગ દ્વારા આયોજિત પ્રતિષ્ઠિત CHEM-CHO 4 કાર્યક્રમ માટે આંશિક પ્રાયોજક તરીકે સેવા આપી હતી. આ પ્રસંગે, ACTI ના પ્રમુખ (શ્રી શ્વેતાંગ પટવારી), સંયુક્ત સચિવ (ડૉ. અતુલ મકવાના-પણ ફેકલ્ટી) અને સમિતિના સભ્યો (શ્રી અવિનાશ ચૌબલ) ને સમાપન સમારોહમાં હાજરી આપવા માટે આમંત્રિત કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જ્યાં ACTI ના પ્રતિનિધિઓએ ભાગ લેનારા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને તેમના ઉત્કૃષ્ટ પ્રયાસો અને સિદ્ધિઓ માટે સન્માનિત કર્યા હતા.

માન્યતાની એક વિશેષ ક્ષણમાં, ACTI ના પ્રમુખ શ્રી શ્વેતાંગ પટવારીજી નું રસાયણશાસ્ત્ર વિભાગ દ્વારા 26 ફેબ્રુઆરી, 2026ના રોજ CHEM-CHO 4.0 ઉજવણી દરમિયાન સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ સન્માન ACTI ના સતત સમર્થન અને સંસ્થા સાથેના MoU હેઠળ રસાયણશાસ્ત્ર વિભાગ દ્વારા આયોજિત વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમોની આંશિક પ્રાયોજકતાની પ્રશંસા અને સ્વીકૃતિ તરીકે આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

આ સહયોગ શૈક્ષણિક ઉત્કૃષ્ટતા, ઉદ્યોગ-સંસ્થા સંવાદ અને યુવા વૈજ્ઞાનિક પ્રતિભાને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે ACTI ની પ્રતિબદ્ધતાને પ્રતિબિંબિત કરે છે.

On 27th November 2025, the 73rd lecture of Expert Lecture Series under the aegis of Association of Chemical Technologists-India was delivered by Shri Prof॰(Dr.) Hitesh D. Patel on the topic "IP" & “AI” at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, students were benefited by this lecture.
In this initiative, St. Xavier’s college chemistry department H.O.D and Asso. Prof. Shri Dr. Francis Christy, Asso. Prof. Shri Dr. Nirmal Desai, Asso. Prof. Shri Dr. Atul Makwana and other professors were present.
