There is a reason floor-to-ceiling windows continue to shape contemporary homes: they bring a sense of openness that few other architectural elements can. By drawing in daylight, expanding visual perspectives and keeping the surrounding landscape within view, they make spaces feel more connected, spacious and alive.

In this residence, they were chosen to do exactly that, allowing the kitchen, gathering spaces, bedrooms and gym to experience the outdoors in their own way.

Everyone talks about making a living room double-height. Not enough people talk about what happens to the walls.

For this home, the curtain wall system was designed to:
- turn the extra wall height into expansive views
- bring daylight deep into the living space
- integrate floor-to-ceiling air vents for natural ventilation
- continue into the staircase for a seamless connection between levels

The height creates the drama. The glazing completes it.

We often think of larger openings for living rooms and bedrooms, but kitchens are where we begin and end most days.

That’s why, in this project, we opted for a full-height sliding system that makes the space feel brighter, more spacious and naturally ventilated. If you’re planning a new home, this is one design choice that’s worth considering early.

One of the biggest opportunities in this project was the landscape surrounding the home. Rather than framing it through conventional openings, we wanted the architecture to feel more open, allowing the boundaries between inside and outside to become less defined.

Every decision followed that intention. From the scale of the glazing to the way the railing is integrated into the system, each detail contributes to a space where the architecture supports the experience rather than competing with it.

One of the most interesting ways to open up a room is by rethinking the corner.

Instead of treating it as the point where two walls meet, you can replace it with full-height corner glazing to completely change how the space feels. For this project, we used:
- corner glazing to bring in daylight from two directions
- uninterrupted views that make the room feel more expansive
- integrated air vents for natural ventilation without interrupting the clean design

It’s one of those design choices that’s subtle in plan, but transformative in experience.

It starts with how the building welcomes you.

For this project, we worked closely with the architecture to create:
- expansive glazed openings that invite natural light
- custom systems that follow every curve with precision
- seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces
- detailing that keeps the design language uninterrupted

Because memorable architecture is as much about how a place feels as it is about how it looks.
