Some pictures taken from assistance by MSc. Microbiology MSMB-202 students (studying Plant-Pathogen interaction) Poonam,Durgesh and Abhimanyu during their field trip together with MSc. Biotechnology students recently. These relate to the white fly Aleurocanthus species and were found infecting leaves of Jamun in Mangalayatan University Campus. Syzygium cumini, known as jambul, jambolan, jamblang or jamun, is an evergreen tropical tree in the flowering plant family Myrtaceae.
