One of our favourite Media Group from southern part of tamilnadu KS MEDIA NETWORK set us all a challenge to Build Affordable modern houses for the Village community.

Proposed residence 1 for Mr. Arun
location : Kothankulam, Ramanathapuram
Category : Low budget house
budget : below 10 lakhs for finished house
Built-up Area : 750 sq.ft

It's a cost effective small home. meets all the requirements of Mr Arun and family. It's a two bedroom home. spacious living room provided. Spacious kitchen is modular.

Designing a house for a Rural family is always all the more interesting because you know their needs of space when you came from a rural area. hence you know how the character of the house should be. The brief was fairly simple, a space that could reflect client personality and that means to be welcoming to his large group of friends (including us) who would be visiting the house propbably but at a restricted budget (Not more than 10 lakhs) with the modest budget every penny had to be carefully planned.
