IMTEX exhibition is being held in Bangalore at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
I visited the exhibition centre yesterday and was amazed to see the range of machines and software on display by Indian companies. The prowess and quality of Indian products are at par with global standards and some of them even outsmart global standards at much cheaper rate. Indian industries and entrepreneurs are coming of age.
Only sad thing is this revolution mostly is happening because of the grit and determination of Indian entrepreneurs not because of the intervention and facilitation by the govts. The Indian MSME industries can play a vital role like the major Indian corporates in designing and manufacturing goods and services for the world.
MSMEs need support of the govts, which presently is far from satisfactory.
