After serving in DRDO for over 34 years Dr. S.Guruprasad started this Innovation Driven Design House βInnoGPβ to quench his thirst for creativity and to contribute to Defence R&D, Manufacturing and to develop State of Art Defence Engineering Systems. Dr. Guruprasad is expert in Computational Structural Mechanics, System Dynamics and Composite Structures. He has many technical publications to his credit in various National and International Journals and conferences. He has 30 patents to his credit, some of them international (USA, Russia etc..). Unmanned Battlefield Systems open up plenty of possibilities for Armed Forces. Surveillance & Reconnaissance form major part of the role for these systems apart from Combat roles. These can be in Remotely Operated, Semi-Autonomous or Fully Autonomous Modes. These unmanned systems on Ground, Airborne, at seas on surface and subsurface can give tremendous rather unbelievable advantage to the Fighting Forces. Even most intriguing part of these systems are innovative applications that were not part of the earlier paradigm of Armed Forces Operations. This is the most exciting part of this Technology Domain. It is only limited by the imaginations of a creative mind to use these technologies in war fighting in completely novel ways. Military Bridging Systems play a paramount role in movement of Fighting units that include Infantry, Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Artillery, Missile Launchers, mobile radars and various other equipment. The Military Bridges are quickly deployable and relocatable as per requirements. These Bridges are also extremely useful during natural disasters and also during special occasions to supplement the existing infrastructure.
