Jetwings Technologies and Aeronautical Engineering Department, Gopalan College of Engineering and Management (GCEM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12th August 2021. This MoU intends to share the expertise in the field of Aeronautics and to impart industry relevant skills for the benefit of students.

The Principal Dr. N Sengottaiyan, Dr. G Ramesh, Prof & Head of AE, GCEM, Shri. Kalaivanan, Mr. Vignesh R and the department staffs were present during the ceremony.

Prithvi is a tactical surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (IGMDP). It is deployed by India's Strategic Forces Command.

Prithvi II class is a single-stage liquid-fuelled missile having a maximum warhead mounting capability of 500 kg, but with an extended range of 250 km (160 mi).
