At Astrogate Labs, we’re building laser communication terminals designed for the next generation of small satellites — enabling faster data transfer and more capable missions in orbit.

Astrogate Labs at Space Meetings Veneto 2026

As optical communications infrastructure becomes central to the next generation of satellite constellations and defence networks, international collaboration at the technology layer is what will define competitive advantage.

Space Meetings Veneto 2026 provided a direct platform for exactly that kind of exchange across the NewSpace ecosystem.

Our Founder and CEO, Nitish Singh, represented Astrogate Labs at SMV26 as part of the IN-SPACe Indian Pavilion Delegation, engaging with European counterparts on the role of laser communication terminals in building resilient, high-bandwidth space infrastructure.

India's indigenous free-space optical communication capability is no longer a roadmap item. It is deployed, validated, and ready for international partnerships.

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Adelaide-based space startup HEX20 Global. This collaboration will enable high-speed inter-satellite data transmission to share large volumes of vital data securely.

The announcement was made at a special event in Bengaluru, in the esteemed presence of the Honorable Nick Champion MP, Minister for Trade and Investment, South Australia, leading a trade mission to strengthen partnerships between South Australian and Indian tech companies.

Nitish Singh, our CEO, shared: "We are excited to collaborate with the talented HEX20 team. By combining our innovations in laser communication tailored for small satellites with their proven satellite platforms, we aim to revolutionize data gathering and transmission capabilities for the new space industry."

Lloyd Jacob Lopez, Founder and CEO of HEX20, said: "This partnership can enable us to securely transmit the sensitive, high-value data needed to drive progress - whether it's tackling climate change, enhancing space exploration and defense tech, or pushing forward human knowledge."

Astrogate Labs was delighted to participate in French Space Days India 2023, a landmark event held at the French Consulate in Bengaluru on October 11th.

The highlight of the event was the special appearance of renowned French astronaut of ESA, Thomas Pesquet. He delivered an inspiring keynote address during the plenary session in New Delhi, sharing his firsthand experiences from the world of space exploration. It was a truly captivating opportunity.

Astrogate Labs also had the valuable opportunity to network with industry leaders and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the space sector. We, at Astrogate Labs, are humbled to have participated in the TAcc+ 2023 International SpaceTech Startup Supporting Program, which brought together 16 startups from around the world to Taiwan. The program aimed to bridge international space tech startups with local collaborators and advance Taiwan's space industry.

We are indeed thrilled to witness Taiwan's growing space tech ecosystem and its commitment to sustainable space pursuits.
We thank the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)(工業技術研究院, 工研院) and TAcc+ (Taiwan Accelerator Plus) for orchestrating this event and facilitating connections with local industry and Taiwan Space Agency－TASA. We are also excited about our ongoing collaborations, and we hope to talk more about them soon! This program proved essential in fostering a more inclusive and collaborative space industry.
