ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: We take great pride in seeing our alumni excel in the industry. Utkarsh Patel, a graduate in Aerospace Engineering from showed remarkable dedication during training with us with one of the best overall results among all our cohorts so far. Furthermore, before transiting into industry Utkarsh’s strong technical mindset and meticulous attention to quality helped us give shape to a new programme at Avistrat. It is only fitting that a brilliant student was selected as an Associate Design Engineer by an exceptional company BluJ Aerospace, which is pioneering sustainable aviation for inter-city and regional transport and air-borne logistics.

A special thank you to Maruthi Amardeep Sri Vatsavaya, Utham Kumar Dharmapuri and Pavan Kumar Reddy Nalla at BluJ Aerospace for placing confidence in us and giving our talent the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace innovation.

At Avistrat, our mission is to ensure aerospace engineers are not just employable, but also thrive in their careers. Seeing our alumni make an impact in great companies is the strongest validation of that mission.

We can’t wait to see Utkarsh and the BluJ Aerospace team soar the skies for many years ahead!

At Avistrat, we believe that the future of aerospace engineering in India will be shaped not just by design excellence, but also by the adoption of .

That’s why we are thrilled to see our alumnus, Akash Suresh, M.Eng, LSSBB, thriving at BlueKei Solutions Pvt Ltd, India’s trailblazer in Model-Based Systems Engineering across aerospace, automotive other industrial domains.

Akash, a BTech graduate in Electronics and Communication from distinguished himself during our Avionics and Electrical Systems program topping in his group, and decided to build on this aerospace exposure at Genser Aerospace & IT Pvt Ltd where he worked as an Assistant Design Engineer in the avionics team. He then followed it up with a post-graduate MEng degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the reputed ( ) with a conscious decision to develop his cross-domain systems thinking to compliment his aerospace experience. His remarkable journey underscores the growing relevance of as a career path alongside aerospace design.

We are deeply grateful to the BlueKei team Stueti Gupta Ajit Mutalik Mudit Mittal and Nikita Nasre for their confidence in our talent and for leading the way in advancing MBSE in India.

The future of aerospace needs systems thinkers as much as it needs designers. 🌍✈️

PM’s Independence Day Speech: A call to action for skilling

The Prime Minister’s Independence Day speech was a powerful call to action. For the aerospace sector, and skilling in particular, three key points stand out:
First, the PM’s proud mention of the frontline deployment of our drones in is a testament to the remarkable capabilities of indigenous technology and our home-grown aerospace start-ups and companies. These demonstrate that a skilled, innovative workforce is not just an asset—it’s a strategic necessity. We must both celebrate and build upon this achievement.

Second, the PM’s emphasis on productivity and efficiency is a timely pointer that while as a nation, our output is growing, to truly become , we must innovate and work faster and smarter. For aerospace engineers, this means moving beyond traditional skills towards more innovative design engineering with world-class productivity to meet fast-evolving strategic and social needs.

Finally, the announcement of the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana has the potential to be a game-changer and we hope it will be a spur our aerospace start-ups and companies to be active stakeholders in as well as giving a platform to motivated, industry-ready first-time engineers aspiring to apply themselves to be part of the Indian aerospace growth story.

If is the destination, human capital is the engine. At Avistrat, we are leading efforts to skill for aerospace, with a team of accomplished industry veterans and young, driven aerospace engineers, and are deeply committed to building an engineering talent pool with strong technical grounding and world-class productivity to drive innovation in the aerospace ecosystem.

✈️ Building Viksit Bharat 2047 — One Skilled Engineer at a Time 🇮🇳

India’s journey to becoming a developed economy by 2047 hinges not only on infrastructure and investment — but on people.

As India turns 78, it stands at the cusp of a historic transformation. With the promise of a vast demographic dividend, the real challenge isn’t in the numbers — but in turning youth into productive talent.

To realize the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, India’s industrial strategy must embrace both automation-driven and labour-intensive manufacturing. This mix will be essential to absorb the expanding working-age population and create widespread, regionally distributed employment while maintaining global competitiveness in high-technology sectors.

But factories alone will not suffice.

We must ensure that those who walk into them are equipped with 21st-century skills — adaptable, innovative, and globally competitive.
Manufacturing is key. And within it, aerospace is a critical catalyst in this transformation.

Why aerospace?
🚀 It is a strategic sector, driving national security, innovation, and global competitiveness.
🛠 It integrates the full spectrum of enterprises — from global OEMs to MSMEs and start-ups.
👩‍💻 It creates high-quality, skilled jobs across deep value chains in design, engineering, and advanced manufacturing.

Yet, even in this vital sector, employability gaps persist.

At Avistrat, we are working to close this gap by making aerospace skilling outcome-driven, employment-aligned, and future-ready. Our mission is simple: to build India’s aerospace capabilities by empowering its engineers — starting with design talent.

Because skilling is nation-building. And India’s aerospace story must be powered by its people.

Let’s build that future together — one skilled engineer at a time.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Gratifying for us to see Murali Manohar N excelling throughout our training in our Structural Design and Analysis programme and going onto grow firm roots in aerospace. Coming from Mechanical Engineering, Murali was one of the most enthusiastic and motivated students we have had, and his determination (and curiosity with questions going late into the evening sometimes) to take a leap into aerospace made our efforts easier. Since completing the course at Avistrat, Murali has had the opportunity to contribute to the small satellite ecosystem working closely with senior scientists at one of the largest private satellite manufacturing facility in Asia at Azista BST Aerospace and then moving onto AXISCADES and working as a Stress Engineer on solving real-time manufacturing challenges on a project with the world's largest commercial airplane manufacturer Airbus. We are certain that Murali's strong resolve will lead him through a great journey ahead and are pleased to have had him with us.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Heartwarming for us to be a way point in the remarkable journey of Hari Shankar V from a reserved mechanical engineering graduate to a Technical Lead in the airframe design team at Aeronautical Development Establishment. It is very satisfying for us to see Hari’s clear-headed determination and a quiet confidence in his abilities, which not only made him the top-performing student in his batch at Avistrat (while taking time to help other students in their course work) bear fruit to be an integral part of the UCAV platform development at ADE in an esteemed design lead role. After Avistrat, Hari had the opportunity to leave his mark on Genser Aerospace & IT Pvt Ltd’s pioneering indigenous 7-seater business jet programme, GLJ-3X1 'Rajas', and gain real world experience of being part of the design team in an ab-initio development programme. Taking that experience, Hari has been growing in leap and strides at ADE on a journey which promises to be long and rewarding!
