Ice Cream Manufacturing and Cold Storage Expansion Project, near Bangalore.
Rinac India Limited executed a major expansion project for a leading ice cream manufacturer located at Harohalli, near Bengaluru. The project involved the development of a new production plant along with a cold storage facility designed to handle 4 lakh litres of ice cream. The entire project was completed within a challenging six-month schedule.
The scope included the design and ex*****on of specialized production cold rooms such as the Cassata Room, Rework Cold Room, Hot Room, Hardening Room, Frozen Storage, Ante Rooms, Dispatch Rooms, Raw Material Storage, and Butter Storage.
The production areas were constructed using Rinac PIR insulated panels. Stainless steel partitions, ceilings, and insulated doors were installed to meet the operational and hygiene requirements of the ice cream manufacturing process.
In addition to the production facility, Rinac delivered a dedicated storage building constructed using a box-out structure comprising insulated PUF panels, insulated doors, and refrigeration systems designed to maintain temperatures of up to -27°C.
The storage facility features a G+3 mezzanine-assisted storage arrangement, maximizing storage capacity while ensuring efficient product handling and movement. The scope also included lift installation, dock shelters, and associated cold chain infrastructure required for seamless storage and dispatch operations.
This project showcases Rinac's capability to deliver integrated cold chain solutions encompassing insulated structures, refrigeration systems, production environments, and frozen storage facilities within demanding project timelines.
