A historical day for us indeed.

Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Sir M.K. Stalin inaugurated the 25.3 MWp floating solar plant in S**C Thoothukudi today.

Ciel & Terre India's scope included engineering, designing, and supply of floats for 14.7 MWp of the project.

We are looking for a highly driven, self-motivated individual to join our growing team as an Operations Manager at our manufacturing unit in Kerala.

Job Role:

1. Planning, Organizing and Directing the Plant / Production activities.

2. Implement and manage business strategies to achieve the Company’s objectives and to provide continual stimulus to its growth and operational efficiency.

3. Ensure continuous improvement in all areas of operations/production.
Ensure total quality management to meet and exceed customers' requirements.

4. Manage budgets, plans, and programs to ensure the optimum utilization of available equipment, space, facility, and human resource necessary to attain manufacturing objectives.

5. Review and continual monitoring on Production/Operational results. Update and recommend to the Management on issues affecting Quality and its Profitability.

6. Develop and prioritize tactical plans to assure achievement of Factory operations.

7. Optimize production capacity in relation to finished goods requirements.
Ensure adequate service levels through close liaison among production, stores, and purchase.

8. Ensure constant maintenance of product quality through the setting of manufacturing standards, employee awareness, and training programs, and monitoring & maintaining the housekeeping standard.

9. Implement Management policies and ensure constructive interpersonal relationships to achieve the standard productivity and keep the morale of the staff up at all levels within the workforce.

10. Collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for the management submission.

Qualification:

1. Graduate with a minimum 7-years of experience in mechanical engineering/ polymer processing.

2. Experience in blow molding or injection molding.

3. Experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing coordination, and Manpower handling.

4. Industrial experience in a production environment is a must

5. Should be ready to work PAN India.

6. A dynamic person who is good at multitasking.

7. Fluent in South Indian Languages will be an added advantage.

The 2nd of December is observed as National Pollution Control Day to commemorate the lives of the people claimed by the Bhopal Gas tragedy in 1984.

The day marks the importance of creating awareness, reducing and preventing pollution created by industrial disasters and human negligence.

Statistics show that:
Every year, close to 7 million people die due to air pollution;
9/10 people have no access to clean and safe air;
Pollution kills more than 100 million animals every year;
Air pollution plays a major role in climate change.

We are obliged to leave a safer and cleaner planet for the future. Let us all be aware and alert, and reduce carbon footprint in every possible ways.

[PROJECT COMPLETION]
India's largest floating solar power plant of 14.7 MWp capacity installed in Southern Petrochemical Industries corporation limited at Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

The plant hosts 37,632 photovoltaic panels of 390 Wp capacity over an area of 15.6 hectares. The float technology used is Ciel & Terre India's locally manufactured Hydrelio Equato floats.
The plant is to be grid connected and commissioned soon.

[PROJECT UPDATE]
Successfully completed 95% of the anchoring and mooring system installation for our ongoing 75MWp floating solar project in South India, and we are all set to launch the floats.

Ciel & Terre India's scope at this phase of the project includes designing, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of the anchoring and mooring system.
