Behind Bumblebee: The Team
There is a photo we keep coming back to.
Everyone is at the assembly station. Three Bumblebees on the bench. Nobody performing for the camera. Just the team, in a room that smells like solder and fresh paint, wearing the same SUIND polo through late nights, field trips and failed tests.
That photo tells you more than any pitch deck.
Building a drone that operates where GPS fails is not something you take on because it is easy. You take it on because you believe it needs to exist. That belief carries you through the months when nothing is working and the simpler path is right there.
This team did not take it.
Chethan joined as an intern and ended up leading hardware integration. Karthik and Vivek have been through every mechanical challenge that comes with building something that must survive dust, vibration, chemical spray and uneven terrain. It is the work that determines whether everything else holds.
Zameer and Sweta build the Ground Control System operators use to plan, monitor and manage every deployment. Getting it right requires understanding how real operations run.
Thiru built operations from the ground up with no playbooks to copy from. Prabhat has tested Bumblebee harder than most would. Alex fine-tunes the machine learning layer with aerospace rigour. Harsh*th keeps the numbers honest. Raisin makes sure the world knows what is being built, without overstating it.
Kevin and Kunal saw a problem the industry was designing around. The autonomy stack that makes Bumblebee operate where others cannot is their work, built from first principles over years of research and real-world validation.
That conviction got Bumblebee type certified, commercially deployed, and running in fields across India.
And if you look closely, Kevin and Kunal are holding something that is not Bumblebee. Something new. More on that soon.
Bumblebee did not build itself. This team did.
Real engineering. Real belief. Every week.
