Dhruva Space is inviting payloads to be hosted the third mission in our Launching Expeditions for Aspiring Payloads (LEAP) series of missions. The LEAP series of missions are developed on Dhruva Space's flagship P-30 Satellite Bus – Space-qualified through our LEAP-TD mission in January 2024.

The LEAP initiative is designed to offer a shared platform for multiple payloads, enabling various organisations – from startups to research institutions – to achieve their mission objectives in a faster, cost-effective way.

🛰️ Mission Overview: With LEAP-1 and LEAP-2 coming soon, LEAP-3 is scheduled for launch in Q4 2025, with a nominal lifetime of one year, minimum. Optimised for Low Earth Orbit (LEO), the mission supports a wide range of payloads from 0.5U to 12U for In-Orbit Validation (IoV) and In-Orbit Demonstration (IoD).

Why LEAP-3?

Cost-effective: By optimising shared satellite resources, our Hosted Payload model drastically reduces the cost of launching and operating in Space.

Mission Flexibility: LEAP-3 supports a wide range of applications, from Earth Observation and communications to scientific research and Technology Demonstration.

Global Reach: With Dhruva Space’s expanding network of Ground Stations and GSaaS offering, LEAP-3 ensures reliable data transmission and global coverage for your missions.

🔭 As Space becomes increasingly crowded, precise satellite tracking capabilities are more crucial than ever – and Dhruva Space is rising to this challenge.
Over the past few days, our team has been tracking 's twin SpaDeX satellites [Chaser (SDX01) and Target (SDX02)] using Earth-based telescopes, and also received Radio Frequency signal at our IIT-Hyderabad S&X-band antenna.

This demonstration marks a critical step in Dhruva's journey towards comprehensive Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Satellite Communication capabilities, with technology designed and developed in India; these indigenous solutions are essential for managing the increasingly complex Space environment and ensuring reliable satellite operations.
