As we continue celebrating 40+ Years of FACOR’s Legacy, we revisit two milestones that redefined ferro chrome manufacturing and strengthened our foundation for future growth.

In 1983, FACOR commissioned its 45 MVA Submerged Arc Furnace, one of the largest of its kind at the time, marking a significant leap in production capability and technological excellence, followed by the commissioning of a 100 MW Captive Power Plant, enhancing energy security, operational reliability, and supporting sustainable growth.

These landmark achievements reflect FACOR’s unwavering commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and nation-building.

As part of FACOR’s commitment to community well-being and education, FACOR's Project Laadli reached schools and Kishori Clubs across FACOR's operational areas, bringing meaningful support to young learners and adolescents.

Through this initiative, 140+ adolescent girls received Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Kits, fostering awareness, confidence, and better health practices, while 140+ boys were provided with notebooks, pens, and chocolates to encourage learning and continued school engagement.

Through such interventions, we remain committed to creating opportunities that help the next generation learn, grow, and thrive.

Planting Today for a Greener Tomorrow!

Continuing FACOR’s commitment to environmental stewardship and Transforming for Good, a plantation drive was organized under the Government of India’s Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign at the western side of the Ostapal Chromite Mines.

With active participation from FACOR’s senior leadership, a total of 100 saplings were planted, reaffirming our collective responsibility towards building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

Every tree planted today is a step towards restoring ecosystems, enhancing biodiversity, and creating lasting environmental impact.
