JOB DESCRIPTION – General Manager (Plant Operations)
Location: KK Metal – Bhiwadi
Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead overall operations of our manufacturing plant at KK Metal, Bewadi. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership in forging, machining, quality systems, and plant operations, with a proven ability to improve productivity, reduce rejection, and manage end-to-end manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations & Production
Lead day-to-day operations of forging and machining units.
Ensure production targets, machine utilization, and delivery schedules are met.
Drive productivity improvements (OEE, throughput, cycle time).
Implement preventive & predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
2. Quality & Systems Management
Oversee quality assurance processes for forging and machining components.
Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 / IATF standards.
Guide teams on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other QMS tools.
Maintain rejection levels within customer and industry norms.
3. People & Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and supervise production, maintenance, quality, and support teams.
Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Conduct workforce planning, performance reviews, and skill development.
4. Customer Management & Coordination
Coordinate with key customers for quality audits, product validations, and dispatches.
Ensure immediate resolution of customer complaints and NCRs.
5. Strategic Improvements
Drive cost reduction initiatives (waste reduction, energy saving, process optimization).
Implement Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma practices.
Plan expansions, upgrades, and capacity enhancements where required.
6. Reporting & Compliance
Prepare MIS reports for management—production, rejection, breakdown, manpower, etc.
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and statutory standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Production preferred).
Minimum 15+ years experience in forging/machining/automotive manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of forging operations, CNC/VMC machining, presses, hammers, screw presses, etc.
Experience in leading large teams and handling complete plant operations.
Certifications in ISO/TS 16949, QMS Auditing, Six Sigma (preferred).
