Under the present hue and cry over DCR/NDCR Solar Modules, we would like to post this pic of a 10kW Solar Project using 250W Polycrystalline Solar Modules which was commissioned back in 2016-17 under Net-metering in a School in when very few people were interested in Solar.

The project has seen 6 Cyclones including the deadliest and no Modules were Damaged or any Burn or Black Spot created. Still going strong and generating 4 units per kW per day. Industry has to rethink about the standard of Solar Modules manufactured these days

As we move on to TOPCON and now HJT with higher efficiency expectations, the mechanical strength of the Solar Modules are going down exposing them to damages during transportation, installation and post installation. A strong guideline on this is must from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India
