The two-day Workshop on Company Formation and Statutory Compliance, held on October 12th and 13th, 2023, was a resounding success!
During these two days, our esteemed mentor, CA Rakesh Kumar Gupta, the visionary Founder of Rakesh Kumar Gupta & Co, offered invaluable insights. Participants obtained a comprehensive understanding of essential topics, including the Legal Requirements for Entity Creation, Business Structures, Taxation, and Statutory Compliances. On the second day, this was complemented by personalized one-on-one mentoring sessions that illuminated the intricacies of company formation for all our valued attendees. Congratulations to Dr. Sanjay K Banerjee, a BIG NE beneficiary from Assam. He is Director of Nutriciana Healthcare Pvt Ltd and Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at NIPER-Guwahati. Dr. Banerjee's innovative nutritional food product to fight child malnutrition, developed through incubation support from KIIT-TBI Bhubaneswar and co-incubation at BioNEST NIPER-G, has been approved by FSSAI. This is NIPER-Guwahati's first product approved by FSSAI to combat malnutrition in children. This achievement represents a significant stride for innovators and entrepreneurs in the North East, paving the way for scientific progress and the betterment of all the states in the region.

the prestigious BIRAC-BIG Funding. Demonstrating his remarkable multitasking abilities, Dr. Deepak Bharadwaj PVP has been actively engaged in various other research activities. He and his team’s tireless efforts and commitment to scientific advancement have culminated in a significant research publication in the esteemed Chemical Engineering Journal. Northeast Startup Showcase Summit 1.0 final day was a big hit.
The action packed day was filled with experience sharing of NE entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from other states, amazing pitching session by 35+ NE Startups and the Technology Exhibition. Best 5 startups were awarded cash prizes and pro bono Incubation at Manipur Technology Innovation Hub

15+ NE startups were also offered pro bono Incubation KIIT TBI for a year during the event and 6 Startups from outside NE have announced to expand their enterprises in NE.
