VVBIOTECH-: CENTRE FOR CARDIOLOGY
The term cardiology is derived from the Greek words “cardiac,” which refers to the heart and “logy” meaning “study of.” Cardiology is the branch of medicine dealing with the disorders of the heart as well as some parts of the circulatory system such as blood vessels. Heart disease relates specifically to the heart, while cardiovascular disease affects the heart, the blood vessels, or both. The prevalence of heart diseases came to notice in about the 20th century and today, it is the leading cause of deaths worldwide i.e. 31% of the total population.

The heart is composed of involuntary muscle tissue found only within this organ also known as cardiac muscle. Most cardiac diseases are caused due to change in lifestyle. Various coronary heart diseases tend to develop when cholesterol builds up on the artery walls and create plaques. By 1948, one in three deaths in the United States were due to coronary heart disease. Recently scientists have also identified genetic risk factors for heart diseases and concluded that there is an interplay between environment and genetic risk factors.

The team of VV Biotech is trying to develop cardiovascular medicine that can cure various cardiovascular diseases. For this we are trying to study the relationship between Tran and turf associated with plaque derived factor which gets accumulated and restricts the blood flow along the artery and vein and their proficiency get reduced. We are also focusing on the genetic factors responsible for developing various cardiovascular diseases.

As our drug i.e. ribozyme is able to down regulate various interleukins, cytokines, and chemokine's and can also down regulate the mechanism of various genes responsible for the disease.

Diseases related to kidneys are increasing day by day.

Therefore, it creates a great concern to thoroughly study the pathophysiology of the kidney to find out the solutions to the problem. VVBiotech is focused on solving this problem by applying the concept of an exosomal drug delivery system.

This exosomal drug delivery system is not a new technique, many reputed journals have mentioned the promising results achieved by applying drug delivery through exosomes in case of different diseases.

After a lot of research, it has been found that many cytokines and chemokines are playing a crucial role in developing kidney-related diseases, especially chronic kidney disease.

Alteration of the normal level of cytokines and chemokines like IL-1, IL-6, IL-15, IL-17, IL-18, IL-19, IL-20, IFN-GAMMA, CCR-7, CCL2, MIP-1α, CXCL 5, CXCL 7, CXCL 12, and so on results in various kidney infections and autoimmune diseases.

There are certain genes involved in the development of chronic kidney diseases like diabetes, hypertension, albuminuria, and so on.

According to a report by the World Health Organization, deaths due to pulmonary diseases in India have been on the rise, accounting for 11 percent of the total deaths. India bears 32 percent of the global burden of respiratory diseases. COPD and Asthma were responsible for 75.6% and 20.0% of chronic respiratory diseases.

Asthma causes swelling of the airways. This results in the narrowing of airways that carry air from the nose and mouths to the lungs. Symptoms include trouble in breathing, wheezing, coughing, and tightness in the chest.

IL-4, IL-5, IL-9, and IL-13 show the potential pathogenic role and are secretory products of stimulated macrophages and other cells. Increased levels of these cytokines result in inflammation in the respiratory tract including trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli, pleural cavity, and muscle respiration.

Our intervention is through RNAi which is the process of sequence-specific, transcriptional gene silencing through RNA. It is a method of controlling gene expression and has the potential for the development of drugs for pulmonary lung disease.

आज हमारे चारों ओर का वातावरण दूषित है। हमारा भोजन दूषित है जिसकी वजह से हमारी सेहत को नुकसान हो रहा है। अधिक उत्पादन के लोभ में किसान अपने खेतों में जमकर रासायनिक खाद का प्रयोग करते हैं। इससे भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति तो प्रभावित होती ही है साथ ही इंसानों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए भी ये हानिकारक होता है।
ऐसा नहीं है कि किसानों को नहीं पता कि रासायनिक खाद इंसान,पर्यावरण और मिट्टी सबके लिए खराब है। लेकिन सब कुछ जानकर भी रासायनिक खाद और कीटनाशकों का प्रयोग करना शायद उनकी भी मजबूरी है। कई जगहों पर तो किसान बाजार में बेचने के लिए रासायनिक खाद और कीटनाशकों के प्रयोग से फसल तैयार करते हैं। जबकि घर में खाने के लिए जैविक तरीके से फसल उगाते हैं।
ऐसी परिस्थिति में जैविक खेती के महत्व को आसानी से समझा जा सकता है। इसीलिए वास्तु विहार बायोटेक रासायनिक खाद और कीटनाशकों की जगह खेती में जैविक तौर-तरीकों को अपनाने की सलाह देता है। बायोचार, पत्तों से बना खाद, यूरिन, गाय का गोबर इन सबका प्रयोग कर खेती को एक नया आयाम दिया जा सकता है। इससे मिट्टी की गुणवत्ता में तो सुधार होगा ही। साथ ही लोगों का स्वास्थ्य भी बेहतर होगा।
