In the acclaimed events of Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS) 2021, organised by TATA Steel in collaboration with Pathani Samanta Planetarium, Team VSLV was invited to have an interactive session with the school students.

The Chief Guest of the event was our Honourable Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik sir. Other significant dignitaries from TATA Steel and Govt. of Odisha of the event were Shri T.V. Narendran ( CEO, TATA Steel), Shri Ashok Kumar Panda ( Science and Technology department, Ministry of Odisha), Shri Manoj Kumar Mishra ( Secretary, electronics & IT, Science and Tech Department, Govt. of Odisha) and OAS Laxmidhar Das ( Director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium). Noteable key stakeholders from the state government and renowned speakers from the field of Space and Astronomy graced the gathering.

The Team, represented by Prasenjit Ghose , Punyaslok Swain @, Rishav Nanda and Subham Behera, shared the ambition of VSLV, an indigenous venture of young minds towards space and rocketry.

We, the Team of VSLV gladly convey our regards and appreciation to the organizing committee for giving us such a wonderful opportunity to be an inspiration for the younger generation of us.

Every year Tata Steel in collaboration with Pathani Samanta Planetarium organizes "Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS)" in order to enthuse school-going children for astronomy and space research.
In this regard, Team VSLV was invited to have an interactive session with the budding minds and set forth an example of belongingness, dedication, and hard work for a dream. The team will insight the gathering about "An insight to satellite communication and sounding rocket" on 13th Dec 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Once again, the astonishing journey of hardships, teamwork, and success of Team VSLV has been noteworthy. Adding to this endeavor, Young Astronomer Talent Search(YATS) 2021 organized by Tata Steel in collaboration with Pathani Samanta Planetarium, invited us to have an interactive session with the school students and encourage them for space and astronomy. The Chief Minister Of Odisha, along with key stakeholders from the state government and distinguished speakers from the sector of space science, will grace the event.

Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai, Father of the Indian Space Program, was an Indian physicist who initiated space research in India. He saw science and technology as levers for development and established the Indian National Committee for Space Research which later became the "ISRO".

On 3rd April 1984, a history was created. This was the day when an Indian went to space and brought glory for the country. He is none other than Former Air Force Pilot, Wing Commander and Astronaut, Rakesh Sharma, the first and only Indian Citizen to go on a space expedition. His courage and audacity has set an example for the upcoming generations.

A reason why VSLV has achieved such heights and thrived on every challenge is the interminable support and appreciation from the stakeholders. And today when we have become an inspiration for many school going students and interacted with them on the esteemed platform of Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS), they stood with us to embark one more accomplishment of the team. Due to their perpetual endorsement, our team is being admired and regarded by many.
