The Department of Electrical Engineering at Chaibasa Engineering College offers a vibrant environment for undergraduate education and research in Electrical Engineering. About Us:
Chaibasa Engineering College was established in the year 2013 and the Department of Electrical Engineering has been one of the major departments of the Institute. The department began with fifty-six under graduate stude

nts and three faculty members; currently, the department has nine faculty members, one ninety undergraduate students. With a very short span of time the department was enhanced excellent learning environment with dedicated young faculty members, technical staff, excellent laboratories and innovative academic processes. In order to perform the complex problem in modern application of Electrical Engineering, the department has a well combination of hardware and software facilities. Apart from this department of Electrical Engineering had a leading role for the upliftment of rural community and as well as the institution. Many Faculty members are active in research area related to their subjects that they teach in the classes. The number of faculty members are active for counselling to the students and the students are also supportive in various departmental activities. Many Alumni of the department have held prominent position in academic institution, industries and Government organization. The department is fortunate that the department have teachers pursuing research towards Ph.D. The department is well equipped with major equipmentโ€™s needs for research point of view and facilitate the under graduate students in laboratory. Recently in the year 2017 the department got the financial support from TEQIP-III projects initiated by MHRD; Govt. There is a strong collaboration with industry in the past 2 years and the number of laboratories was established through such collaboration to facilitate our students. The vision of the Department:

To impart fundamental electrical engineering concepts with the help of a well-defined academic curriculum, which will contribute to the employability, and higher education of engineering graduates and help to make socially responsible electrical engineers. The mission of the Department:

To emphasize more on basic science education at the beginning of the program. To provide an interactive teaching-learning process to determine the interest of the student towards higher education and employability. therefore, encourage them in that direction through proper guidelines. To impart awareness of electrical engineering education as per the modern-dayโ€™s requirements. To inculcate social needs and responsibilities with extra co-curriculum.
