Biotechnology, UIET, Panjab
University, Chandigarh. The
symposium is aimed to provide a
common platform for exchange of
ideas among academics, researchers,
industrialists and students associated
with various aspects of
Biotechnology. Emphasis will also be
given on understanding the current
growth and future prospects of

Description of Denovocation(11th November 2016 - 10:00 to 12:00 pm):
Denovocation is an event that provides you with a platform to showcase your engineering as well as marketing skills. How well can you design a product to make everyone’s life easier? The topic for the product will be given on the spot and you will also get full 45 minutes to design it. The product only has to be on paper and not made physically. The concept of the product, thus, can be hypothetical but at the same time must be technically sound. The students will have to then present their product in front of the judges and hence sell it, they will only get 6 minutes for the same. So, come and make some product ‘a fresh’, then sell it to the world with proper marketing and publicity strategy.
