A sustainable living experiment @ Sembakkam , East Tambaram, Chennai
Buildings , Building , Houses , complexes ... and the list goes on. Where ever you turn around even in the suburbs of Chennai you would be greeted by a building under construction. A house is a cherished possession of any customer . While it is not surprising that most of the customers consider location ,specification and price to be the key parameters of decision making ( I mean the value seekers , Those who don't run behind brands to shield their identities but try to seek value by their own rationale as they value their personal identity more than the promoters brand equity, trust me , i just love such customers and even adore them)
But what surprises us as promoters is the very fact that less than 5% of the customers even attempt questioning us on the long term sustainability of living in the Housing project . Have they taken it for granted? , Is this Oversight ? ,is it faith and reliance on the builder ? or is it Just ignorance. Be it what ever, long term sustainability is definitely a core issue that needs to be addressed.
This pushed us to the next stage of design of experiment and one such experiment on sustainability is our project Madhuvanthi at Sembakkam .
