Polyhose Group commits ₹1,010 crore for strategic expansion in Tamil Nadu

Polyhose Group has committed ₹1,010 crore over the next seven years toward greenfield and brownfield projects spanning medical tubing, assembly of automotive brake tubing and hydraulic hoses, EV components, rubber compounding for OTR tyres, industrial infrastructure and other strategic growth areas, creating approximately 1,500 jobs.

As part of this commitment, Mr. Shabbir Yusuf Jamnagarwala, Founder & Managing Director, Polyhose Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Deepak Jacob, IAS, MD & CEO, Guidance, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, along with Mr. Ali Asger Jamnagarwala, Director, Polyhose, and Mr. Hussain Turab, Vice President, Polyhose.

We are proud to contribute to Tamil Nadu’s vision of becoming a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036 and look forward to strengthening our manufacturing ecosystem, creating new opportunities and contributing to the state’s continued industrial growth.

Polyhose is expanding into the upstream oil and gas market with a new generation of oilfield hoses. We are looking for an industry veteran with good technical expertise to head this strategic initiative.

The product range will include drilling, cement, mud, choke-and-kill, and other oilfield service hoses to meet API 7K and API 16C specifications.

We are seeking a visionary Operations Head to lead the facility setup, commissioning, ensure rigorous compliance with API codes, and scale up:

👉 Proven experience in oilfield hose development and manufacturing
👉 Strong technical expertise in quality and manufacturing compliance with API codes
👉 A demonstrated ability to lead facility setup, commissioning, and operational scale-up
