Industrial Visit – Department of Biotechnology

On 08.07.2026, the II Year and III Year students of the Department of Biotechnology visited Microtherapeutics Pharma Industries, Tambaram, as part of an industrial visit.

The visit provided the students with valuable exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and significantly enhanced their analytical, instrumental, and clinical knowledge. They also gained practical insights into industry standards, quality control procedures, and research practices followed in the pharmaceutical sector.

This industrial visit will strengthen the students' technical competencies and improve their career readiness. It is expected to facilitate training, internship, and placement opportunities in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

DANDELION, a National-Level Cultural Fest, was organized by the AURANIX Team at Madha Engineering College on 13th and 14th March 2026. The event was graced by celebrities from the film industry, whose presence added grandeur and excitement to the celebrations. Students enthusiastically showcased their talents through a wide range of cultural performances and activities, contributing to the fest's resounding success.

The inaugural session of DANDELION was held on 14th March 2026 and was honoured by the presence of Joshi Nirmal Kumar IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, who distributed prizes to the winners of various events, adding significance to the occasion.
