**A Tribute to Sundara Pandian P., Mentor and Visionary person **

Sundara Pandian P., Director of Anchor Group of Companies, was not only a mentor but the backbone of our organization's success. His journey began in 1977 as a marketing manager for a pipe company. With dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, he founded **Anchor Asbestos** in 1979, marking the start of a prosperous venture. By 1987, his vision and leadership inspired the formation of **Anchor Ceramic Company**, propelling the business to new heights.

Sundara Pandian’s strategic foresight was instrumental in positioning the company for global partnerships, including involvement in World Bank schemes. His efforts helped Anchor Group establish itself as a leading contractors in UGSS contracts, ensuring sustained growth and success.

Moreover, Sundara Pandian P. played a pivotal role in expanding the group’s capabilities into high-stakes industries. He was the driving force behind our involvement in submarine construction at the **VIZAG Ship Building Center**, where we contributed to the construction of **INS Arihant**, India's first nuclear-powered submarine. His vision enabled us to be part of this prestigious project, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Sundara Pandian P. was committed to uplifting the lives of those around him. His leadership and compassion helped many families grow and thrive. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we build on the foundations he laid.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Managing Director, Mr. Raja Chandra Sekharan, on 14th September 2024, at 8:30 AM. Mr. Raja Chandra Sekharan‘s journey was nothing short of extraordinary. An MA graduate with a deep sense of vision and purpose, he founded Comtech in 1977, laying the foundation for what would become a leading force in the industry. But his ambition did not stop there. Just a year later, in 1978, he established Anchor Asbestos Companies, a bold move that demonstrated his foresight and entrepreneurial spirit. In 1988, he further expanded his vision by founding Anchor Ceramics Company, cementing his legacy as a pioneer in multiple industries.

Over the decades, Mr.Raja Chandra Sekharan’s leadership, perseverance, and innovative mindset transformed these companies from humble beginnings into influential and respected organizations. His keen ability to adapt, grow, and lead by example made him a true visionary, revered not only by his colleagues but by many in the business world. He built each company with a foundation of trust, integrity, and excellence—values that continue to define us today.

More than just a leader, Mr.Raja Chandra Sekharan was a mentor, guide, and role model to everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His kindness, humility, and unwavering commitment to his principles left an indelible mark on the countless lives he touched.
