Project: Jinnah Residence – Informal Living & Dining
Every corner of this home speaks of connection and togetherness.
The informal living and dining space was designed with one thought in mind — family first.
Key Highlights:
1. Spacious Family Layout:
Planned to accommodate 50+ members, allowing the family to gather comfortably for functions, festivals, and get-togethers.
2. Flexible Living–Dining Configuration:
The living and dining spaces can be merged or separated as needed, offering privacy without compromising openness.
3. Dual Balcony Design:
A front balcony attached to the living area faces the main road, while a side balcony connects to the dining area — enhancing light, ventilation, and outdoor connection.
4. Monochromatic Interior Palette:
The half-white walls, grey marble flooring, and wooden accents create a consistent monochrome theme from exterior to interior, exuding calm sophistication.
5. Double-Height Ceiling Advantage:
The double-height ceiling amplifies space and light, ensuring natural ventilation and easy communication between floors. It also enhances visual connectivity, reduces heat accumulation, and adds an elegant vertical volume to the space.
6. Open Kitchen with Breakfast Unit:
The open kitchen layout promotes family interaction during daily routines. The breakfast counter doubles as a quick dining spot, ensuring seamless flow between cooking, serving, and conversation.
7. Parent Bedroom Placement:
The parent bedroom is purposely located on the first floor to maintain close connectivity with the main family zone while ensuring comfort and accessibility.
8. Formal Living on Ground Floor:
A separate formal living area is positioned on the ground floor, allowing visitors and non-family guests to be received without interrupting family activities or privacy upstairs.
