Renewable Energy

Renewable energy systems such as solar, wind, geothermal, or hydro are much more effective after other energy saving measures have already been taken. Up to a certain high level of efficiency, eliminating the need for kilowatt-hours of electricity or British thermal units (Btu) of heat typically costs less than supplying that same amount electricity or heat with solar or wind energy. Although less cost effective than the other measures, renewable energy truly is the icing on the cake.

GRID TIED SOLAR ROOF TOP:-

As per our EB Tariff is Rs 5-10/ Per Unit (incl tax).
Average our Bi monthly Residential (AC Users) Consumption is 1200 units (Rs 6400)only. Using Solar Grid Tied System you can Import and Export Energy (Net Meter or Bi Directional Meter) from your Solar Power Plant to TNEB Grid.

Ex:-
Residential Solar Power Plant Design =4KW
Power Production Per Day=16 Unit (Avg)
Bi -Monthly Consumption=1200 Unit; (Present Usage:1200 Unit)
Similarly for Bi Month (60 Days)
Power Production -Bi Month= 16*60=960 Unit (Avg)
Bi -Monthly Consumption=1200 Unit

Bi Month Approx TNEB Bill =1200 (Import )-960 (Export) =240 Units * Rs 1.5=Rs 360-Rs 200 (Subsidy)=Rs 160/- (If You have installed Solar Power Plant)

Bi Month Approx TNEB Bill =1200 Units=Rs. 6400/- (If You not Installed Solar Power Plant)

1.No Battery , TNEB Grid is the Storage
2.Import and Export Energy through Net Meter or Bi Directional Meter
3.Day Time (AC-OFF Mode) if you have Excess energy you can directly Export to TNEB Grid.
4.Night Time (AC-ON Mode) you can import Energy from TNEB Grid.
5.Solar Panel Warranty : 20-25 Years
6.Solar PV Energy Cost (EB Bill ) Constant up to 20-25 Years ; But TNEB Bill will Revise 3-5 Year Once
7.FIFO Basis –TNEB Transformer Load 30% only.
