At HBR Chemicals, we develop customised solutions for our clients. Introducing our new range of customised basic dyes. Basic dyes, also known as cationic dyes, are a type of synthetic dye that are commonly used to color materials such as paper, textiles, and plastics. They are called "basic" dyes because they have a positive charge (or basicity) and are attracted to negatively charged materials.
Basic dyes are typically made from basic compounds such as methylene blue, rhodamine B, and crystal violet. They are water-soluble and can be applied to materials using a variety of techniques, including immersion, spraying, or printing.
Basic dyes are particularly useful for colouring materials that have a high negative charge, such as acrylic fibers, nylon, and certain types of paper. They can produce bright, vivid colours and have good light fastness and resistance to fading.
