Today everyone has smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices that are lying ideal at home. Eventually, each of these gadgets will reach the end of its useful life and will become obsolete, leading to electronic waste.

What makes a device obsolete?

- Outdated Technology
- Different device with better cost value/feature
- Doesn't hone the specific functional needs
- Cost too much to repair (if broken)
- Broken beyond repair

Actual vs Perceived Value

Generally, consumers attach a high value to their obsolete device. In reality, the cost of the obsolete device is only the value of material present in it and not a fraction of the initial cost of the device, as the initial price includes manufacturing, R&D, sales, marketing, retail markup, brand value, etc.

So what can you do with the obsolete devices?

>> Give your obsolete device to a certified E-Waste recycler
>> Donate your device to the recycler, and the recycler will donate the equivalent value to charity.
>> Give back to your electronic companies at drop off points or for exchange
