The Science Festival Story
Science is all about practical application but we are still taught the theory part of science and seldom attempt how it is applied. In 2013, a start-up thought of bringing to India a festival that celebrated the joy of science - Edinburgh International Science Festival - with the help of an upcoming real estate company. The dream that started in feb 2013 came true with in August 2013 in Bangalore as more than 25000 people visited the festival across 10 days. 75 schools sent their students to see and experience the joy in science when it is not just taught but also applied in a fun environment. But bringing an international science festival every year to India is a very expensive affair and with the help of the good folks at Edinburgh Science festival, in the summer of 2015, Imaginex Science Festival was created. This Festival aims to bringing the joy of learning back with celebrating science and its applications. Learn how slime making teaches the science behind polymers, learn how with just rice and a pencil kids understand the basics of friction or how is the mass of air can be measured with just a balloon.
Imaginex Science festival works wherever you may need it - on-ground as a kids engagement festival, online as a resource bank or at your kids birthday party, we are there to celebrate science and create memories.
