The Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January. It honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic. It is a national holiday in INDIA.
The President of the country addresses the nation and unfurls the National Flag. The ceremony is followed by 21gunshots as a mark of respect. Then the different regiments follow the parade with grace and dignity. The school children perform their dances and represent different states and sectors.
The students performed dances, sang songs and spoke lines on the character as they were dressed up to celebrate the patriotic feeling for the nation. The teachers made them do the activity representing the tricolour.
