HAL to roll out Naval Utility Helicopter

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited to roll out 1st prototype of the Naval Utility Helicopter (UH-M) by 2024 end

HAL is developing a specialised version for Indian Navy 🇮🇳, which will buy 60 units of the same replacing old HAL Chetak helicopters in service.

HAL will build a 2nd prototype by middle of 2025 to expedite the tests & certification. The delivery of UH-M to the Indian Navy will start by 2027-28.

Xiaomi SU7

Xiaomi announced its intent to enter the electric vehicle market in March 2021. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun claimed the company would invest 10 billion yuan (US$1.4 billion) into the project. Xiaomi Automobile was established in 2021, based in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company received permit to produce vehicles from China's National Development and Reform Commission in August 2023.

Production of the SU7 started in December 2023. It was introduced on 28 December 2023. The retail price is announced on 28 March 2024, which the standard version costs (🇨🇳CNY 215,900 yuan)

The SU7 is built on an 800-volt electrical architecture with a maximum of 871 volts. The company markets the electric motors used by the SU7 as the "HyperEngine V6 Series". The base SU7 with rear-wheel drive operates with 400 volts with a power rating of 220 kW (295 hp; 299 PS) and 400 N⋅m (40.8 kg⋅m; 295 lb⋅ft). The all-wheel drive SU7 Max operates at 800 volts and provides a total of 495 kW (664 hp; 673 PS) and 500 N⋅m (51.0 kg⋅m; 369 lb⋅ft).

The SU7 Max uses a 101 kWh NMC battery produced by CATL and branded as Qilin mounted in a cell-to-body format. The base, rear-wheel drive SU7 uses a smaller 73.6 kW LFP battery. Xiaomi also plans to release versions with 132 kWh and 150 kWh batteries.According to Xiaomi, the base SU7 is able to accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 5.3 seconds, while the SU7 Max goes from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.78 seconds. Speed is limited to 210 km/h (130 mph) for the base model, and 265 km/h (165 mph) for the SU7 Max.
