We sincerely thank all the stakeholders, customers, and partners who visited our stall and took the time to interact with us. The discussions, feedback, and exchange of ideas truly reinforced our commitment to advancing indigenous, compliant, and future-ready airport solutions.

Vardhman Airport Solutions Ltd awarded by Adani Group Jaipur Airport for Excellence in A-VDGS Maintenance and Apron Automation

Jaipur, India – Vardhman Airport Solutions Ltd (VAS) has been recognized by Adani Airport Holdings Ltd for its exemplary long-term maintenance of the Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (A-VDGS) installed on the apron, across both contact and remote stands.

The airport’s A-VDGS journey with Vardhman began in 2020, with the successful supply and commissioning of 23 units, followed by an additional 6 units in 2022, totaling 29 A-VDGS integrated with a centralized Apron Management System. Since then, VAS has been responsible for ongoing maintenance and system availability, ensuring smooth docking operations every day.

While contact stands support seamless integration with AMS and PBB, it is at the remote stands where the impact of the system is most transformative. Traditionally dependent on manual marshalling or standalone A-VDGS units requiring on-ground activation, these stands now benefit from remote triggering through the Apron Management System, eliminating the need for ground staff and ensuring improved operational efficiency.

A special emphasis is placed on wingtip clearance safety, especially at remote stands where human visibility is limited. To support this, each A-VDGS unit is equipped with a dual-camera system:

1. A pilot-view camera to guide the aircraft toward the stop position.

2. An apron-view camera that continuously records aircraft movement.
This video footage is vital for incident investigation, especially in cases where pilots allege incorrect stop guidance. The recordings help verify whether the pilot responded with brakes when the 'STOP' was displayed, allowing clear distinction between pilot error and calibration issues. This process reduces dependency on manual walk tests, which at some airports are still required on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis for verifying A-VDGS accuracy.

In recognition of the reliable service, technical support, and uptime performance, Adani Group recently awarded Vardhman Airport Solutions Ltd for its dedicated contribution to airside automation and apron safety.

Vardhman Airport Solutions stands with the Indian Armed Forces

We are proud to be associated with the Indian Air Force through the successful delivery of a technically intensive 2-year maintenance Follow-On Support (FOS) project under the MAFI (Modernisation of Airfield Infrastructure) initiative — spanning 30 strategic airbases across the nation.

Our dedicated team of engineers, technicians, and zonal managers worked tirelessly to ensure round-the-clock support for critical systems like PAPI calibration, AFLS maintenance, CAT II PLC logic, BPI diagnostics, UPS and DG set servicing, and more — all contributing to the operational readiness of our armed forces.

As part of this journey, we had the honor of hosting IAF personnel at our Experience Center in Delhi for hands-on training and product demonstrations, strengthening collaboration and operational familiarity.

With the recent attack in Pahalgam, we salute the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers who stand strong against terror.

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of the Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) system at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Greenfield Airport, Amravati, Maharashtra!

🌟 Executed by Vardhman Airport Solutions, AGL system includes runway, taxiway lights, signage boards, and critical infrastructure—all fully compliant with ICAO Annex 14/DGCA CAR standards.

This is a proudly Make in India AGL system—more than 95% of the system is indigenously designed, engineered, and delivered, with the exception of inset lights.

🔧 Overcoming unique design and technical challenges, our experienced team ensured the system met all performance and safety standards—and successfully navigated the complex DGCA approval process, showcasing our deep domain expertise and commitment to compliance.

🚀 It also marks our 4th greenfield airport project, after the successful AGL implementations at Ayodhya, Shivamogga, and Vijaypura Airports.

🛫 This milestone, in collaboration with Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), Airports Authority of India, and the Government of Maharashtra (GoM), supports the airport’s launch in April 2025, enhancing safety, regional connectivity, and economic growth in Vidarbha.
