*Addressing Fuel Supply Rumours and HPCL Credit Changes*

Dear Friends,We are aware of rumours circulating in the dealer community about potential fuel shortages due to the ongoing Gulf crisis. As of now, IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL maintain sufficient inventory for uninterrupted supplies across our entire network. There are currently no restrictions on sales or supplies from the OMCs, and the situation remains fully under control. There is absolutely no need for panic.

We have learned that HPCL is implementing measures to enforce financial discipline on product purchases. Over the past few months, they have incrementally adjusted the credit factor from an initial 2.5x to the current 1.25x, with information indicating a transition to 1x shortly.
*Even they may at the extreme go with 0 credit limit*.

I don't know how Dealers are going to manage their business prudently under these changes:

Strict Limits: As of yesterday news,HPCL will operate strictly within system-defined credit limits.No Manual Overrides: Regional Managers will no longer have authority to release credit holds manually.

Key Advice:

*Do not dump Petrol, Diesel, or L***s based on anyone's advice*

Avoid credit sales beyond your capital limits; stick to cash or controlled credit.

Regularly check your working capital to ensure seamless operations.

*Do not rely on oil companies for capital support—sustain your business with your own funds and bank facilities*.

If oil companies offer credit limits in the future, do not surrender your financial independence.

Remember: *Our outlets, our capital, our management. Plan your indents wisely and avoid dependency on oil companies for financial matters*.
